About
Strategic enough for the boardroom. Operational enough to change the business.
I'm Hanna Grönstedt. 15+ years across established global brands, high-growth scale-ups and early-stage startups, in beauty, fashion, activewear, wellness and consumer, working across Europe, the Middle East, Korea, the US and the UK. I work at the intersection of product, commercial strategy and growth.
Experience
Global brands, scale-ups, founders.
The same craft learned in three very different kinds of company, which is why I can tell which parts of a global playbook actually transfer to a scale-up, and which ones will just slow it down.
Established global brands
- H&M Group / & Other StoriesGlobal purchasing and category, at world scale.
- Gucci BeautyLuxury beauty, and what the most demanding houses require of a product decision.
- Hugo Boss FragrancesFragrance at global scale: launches, positioning, commercial discipline.
High-growth scale-ups
- CAIA CosmeticsCPO, Product, Assortment & Purchasing. Executive Leadership Team.
- Rapunzel of SwedenCPO. Product, sourcing and product economics at the top table of a DTC scale-up.
Founders & early stage
- H Grönstedt ABStrategic advisor, fractional executive and operating partner to founders, leadership teams and boards.
- Retail & e-commerceBeauty, fashion, activewear, wellness and consumer brands.
The edge
The upside hiding in plain sight.
I'm particularly strong at finding the commercial upside hiding in plain sight, whether it sits in the assortment, the pricing, the supplier setup, the negotiations, the cost structure or the way the organisation works.
That's the part most people can't see from a slide. It comes from having sat in the seat: owning the range, owning the buying, owning the numbers, and being accountable for what they did next quarter.
Most recently CPO and Executive Leadership Team member at CAIA Cosmetics. Today I work with founders, leadership teams and boards through H Grönstedt AB as a strategic advisor, fractional executive and operating partner.
Growth is only interesting if the economics work.
How I look at a business
Why founders let me close
Close, without threatening.
Founder-led brands are personal. The range is somebody's taste. The suppliers are somebody's relationships. The numbers are somebody's choices. I work close to all of it without making anyone feel corrected.
My work is measurable. Growth, margin, launches, terms and stock turns: you can put a number on the work, and we will. And when the next phase needs more than product work, I help build the organisation itself: teams, ownership, decision frameworks, so the company scales without losing what made it special.
You keep the magic. I make sure it's paid for.
The whole job, in one line
Contact
Let's talk.
I work with founder-led brands in retail and e-commerce from Stockholm and Marbella, on site and remote. If that sounds like your company, the first conversation is easy: bring your numbers or your growth plan, and I'll tell you what I would go after.
